Self Lubricating Bearings

The FEROFORM® range of self lubricating bearings have been developed by TENMAT to offer unique wear resistant materials suitable for many demanding applications.

The FEROFORM® range are manufactured from a resin matrix reinforced with woven synthetic fiber cloth. FEROFORM® materials are available as tubes, sheets or finished bearings, bushing and wear plates.

FEROFORM® grades are self lubricating and can operate under harsh environments from the Arctic to the tropics, from coastal waters to deep sea conditions.


F- Grades:

FEROFORM® F43

FEROFORM® F43 is a high performance material for rotor vanes for vacuum pumps. The principle area of use of FEROFORM® F43 is in single and two stage high vacuum pumps where FEROFORM® F43 exhibits superb stability under vacuum insensitivity to moisture, excellent strength retention, and low noise.

FEROFORM® F57
FEROFORM® F57 is a high performance material for rotor vanes for compressors and vacuum pumps. The main areas of use of FEROFORM® F57 are in milking pumps, blowers for cement plants, tanker discharge pumps, and high vacuum pumps. FEROFORM® F57 exhibits superb stability under vacuum, insensitivity to moisture, excellent strength retention, and low noise.

FEROFORM® F61
FEROFORM® F61 is a high performance, high temperature insulating material for demanding applications. It has good resistance to temperatures up to 300°C. The main area of application is the aerospace industry where reliability and dependability are paramount requirements.

T- Grades:

FEROFORM® T11
FEROFORM® T11 is a composite material made from woven fibre bonded with resin with a friction modifier. FEROFORM® T11 has strength, durability, dimensional stability, low friction, and excellent wear characteristics.

FEROFORM® T12
FEROFORM® T12 is a composite material made from woven fibre bonded with resin with molybdenum disulphide as a friction modifier. FEROFORM® T12 has strength, durability, dimensional stability, low friction, and excellent wear characteristics. It has the ability to run both dry and wet with water lubrication making it extremely useful in Marine applications for sterntube bearings and rudder bearings.

FEROFORM® T14
FEROFORM® T14 is a composite material made from woven fibre bonded with resin.
FEROFORM® T14 has strength, durability, dimensional stability, and excellent wear characteristics and is used in Marine applications for sterntube and rudder bearings.

FEROFORM® T127
FEROFORM® T127 is a composite material made from woven fibre bonded with resin with molybdenum disulphide as a friction modifier. It has been given a special treatment to make it suitable for high temperatures. FEROFORM® T127 has strength, durability, dimensional stability, low friction, and excellent wear characteristics. It is particularly suited for the bearings for vertical pumps where it can run dry on the top bearings.

FEROFORM® T814
FEROFORM® T814 is a composite material made from woven fibre bonded with resin with PTFE as a friction modifier. FEROFORM® T814 has strength, durability, dimensional stability, low friction, and excellent wear characteristics. It has the ability to run both dry and wet with water lubrication making it extremely useful in Hydro plants.
